Rules of 1vs1 tournament - AR2 - Season 1 - April, 2009

Structure of the tournament :

- The tournament takes place in a “direct elimination” way, each participant will have to face his opponent twice or three times (2 winning games). In the case when the same player wins the first two games, the third game isn’t necessary to play. The player registered the earliest will be able to choose the map for the first game.

Dates :

- The tournament’s dates are established from the 2nd to the 7th of April 2009. Every games will have to be played during this period. A request will be sent by an organizer a few days before the beginning of the tournament to make sure you take part. Every player who doesn’t give a sign of life will be immediately replaced by a player in the waiting list.

Subscriptions :

To sign in, you must answer the different informations below and indicate your agreement with the rules. Subscriptions will be finished a few days before the tournament beginning. The staff undertakes to brief you about every details, and this well-beforehand.

Number of place :

- The participants list is fixed to 16 players, firstly. However, it is possible to proceed to 32 players (in the case when a lot of people would sign in). So, in the first place, there will be, as well as 16 participants, a waiting list. Players in the waiting list will have the chance to be involved in the tournament if the amount of players grows. Otherwise, they will stay in the waiting list for a possible replacement of a participant (who just had to leave for any reason). If you want to be sure to participate, sign in as quick as possible !

Game organization:

We rely on your good will to the smooth functioning of the tournament. The participants will have to arrange it between them to play their matches against their opponents. A topic will be created with the participants’ MSN Messenger addresses. Please tell an organizer if your opponent doesn’t reply. As it was already explained above, every inactive player will be replaced (if possible), otherwise, will be forfeited.

Announces results :

- Game will have to take place compulsorily according to the rules (please see below). You will be also asked to post a Screenshot at the end of the game. Beware ! This screenshot must be accurate to make sure you’re fair play ! On the screenshot, those informations must be present : A part unrevealed of the map (the “black part”) AND informations given by typing "/r/dpl" during the game. Screenshots are our only proof to distinguish between the winner and the looser. Every player who doesn’t post a screenshot, or who doesn’t post it correctly will be immediately eliminated ! Do not miss your chance ! Screenshots will be posted either on C&CSaga (www.CnCSaga.com), or on Strike-Team (www.Strike-Team.net).

The third map will be “Heck Freezes Over”. The confrontation list will be entirely drawn thanks to an appropriate program.16 Maps have been kept for this tournament. Below, here is the list .

Disconnects :

Every player loosing his connection during the game will be forfeited. In the case when your opponent disconnects from the game, you will have

In the case when an organizer have to chase after you, it's not a good sign for you !
